Recognizing that access to laundry facilities is a critical step toward stability in housing, employment, and health, I managed a fundraising event to support Walla Walla Alliance for the Homeless in their mission to provide essential resources for individuals transitioning to stable housing. Tasked with organizing a silent auction and other fundraising efforts, I coordinated with stakeholders, managed budgets, and developed a clear event timeline to ensure the success of the project. Through careful planning and execution, the event raised a total of $45,000, with $2,200 generated from the silent auction. These funds were directed toward establishing on-site laundry facilities and adding peer support staff, furthering the Alliance's ability to support the community.
